Four years ago, I ran for Supervisor and promised fiscal conservatism, accessibility to my constituents, and a stronger relationship with the City of Chico.
Today, Butte County has a balanced budget, with a healthy contingency fund, and is living within its means. That’s quite an accomplishment, given the State’s chronic budget problems and corresponding impacts to county services.
I’ve spent thousands of hours as your full-time Supervisor solving problems for constituents. Also, through planning and hard work, the relationship between Butte County and the City of Chico is as strong as it has been in years.
During the next four years. I will continue to embrace a fiscally conservative budget.
I will use my experience to improve public safety and library services. I will guard our water resources, protect our valuable agricultural land, and support responsible development. I will also promote a strong business climate.
